By far the most common theme of last summer, other than the usual explosions and big effects and robots, was "threequels." 2007 May alone had the third parts of Spider Man, Shrek, and Pirates of the Carribean, followed by the threequel to the Oceans series, a "fourquel" to Die Hard, and a "fivequel" to Harry Potter. Not many people were really satisfied with how trilogies wrapped up last year, except for one movie and one big character- though good luck trying to find him. Once again, intelligence agencies all over the world fail to do just that in "The Bourne Ultimatum."

Jason Bourne has been chased all over the world, outrun countless killers, taken on many a corrupt government official, and lost the love of his life. All while recovering from the amnesia that blocked out his past as an assassin for the CIA rouge company Treadstone. However, there is one incomplete part left- the very beginning. Bourne's new mission is to find out who he was before he was recruited, and who was responsible for bringing him in. He finds that London reporter Simon Ross has uncovered much of it on his own, making him a target of CIA official Noah Vosen, who is reviving Treadstone under the new codename Blackbrier. Bourne's effort to make contact puts him back on the grid as Vosen and former Bourne pursuer Pamela Landey lead the way after him. With help from former Treadstone analyst Nicky, Bourne attempts to find the loose ends and links to his past before Vosen can take them out himself. This eventually leads Bourne right to where it all began in New York City.
