Are you looking for a quick and easy snack that you can take anywhere and eat whenever you get an attack of the munchies? Try Snickers Snack Clusters for a low calorie, convenient snack that will help tide you over until mealtimes. If you like Snickers Chocolate Bars, then you will like this brand of snack. I came across Snickers Snack Clusters on my recent trip to Big Lots. As I looked at the snack aisle, I was hoping to come across a new snack that I had not yet tried, as I was getting hungry. The reason I picked this snack was because I imagined I would be eating a miniature sized version of a Snickers bar in small bite-size pieces. I also liked the price. For $0.25 I was getting a 34.9g (1.23oz) snack pack, which looked really good.
When I got home, I opened up the packet of Snickers Snack Clusters and started to eat a few of the clusters. At first, I could see no connection between this snack and Snickers. The snack was more like a bland variety of granola. But as I tried a bit more, I could detect pieces of chocolate and it tasted sweeter. The texture is quite crunchy and there is no caramel as you would expect from a Snickers bar.
Each bag contains 140 calories, 1.5g of saturated fat, no cholesterol, 180mg of sodium, 16g of carbohydrate, 1g of fibre, 6g of sugar and 2g of protein. This snack also provides 60% of your daily calcium intake as well as 2% iron. This is a low calorie snack and it contains no cholesterol. The sodium content is low. The best thing about this snack is that it is a good source of calcium, which came as a surprise to me. That makes this a good choice for people who are trying to keep their cholesterol levels low and also for people who have high blood pressure.
Although it took me a few bites to decide whether or not I liked Snickers Chocolate Clusters, my final impression of this snack was a favourable one. This is a low calorie snack with a hint of sweetness, a nice crunchy texture, and it is very affordably priced. I would therefore recommend this snack.
