The Lord is my constant companion; I am never alone.

He takes me through trips of laughter:
He delights my soul.
He invites me to dine with him daily on the delicacies of life:
He nurtures my spirit.
He shares secrets with me for his good pleasure:
He withholds no good thing from me.

Even when the circumstances of life wage war against me,
I fear no evil:
Because God, I know you care for me completely;
You lift up your mighty hand in my defense;
You send angels down from heaven to minister to me;
You lift me up;
My heart is full of peace and joy.

Surely, undying love and patience will surround me all of the days of my life,
And I will walk hand-in-hand with the Lord forever.

The Lord is My Constant Companion

The Lord is a constant companion to anyone who will let him.
