Some parents choose not to use the bumper pads that come with a crib set, and it seems such a shame to get rid of them. Parents who don't want to use bumper pads in their baby's crib don't have to give them to charity or throw them away. Here you'll find many alternate ways to use crib bumper pads. They can be used in many creative ways in the baby's room, and you don't have to be a seamstress, an interior designer, or an artist to turn them into something completely new, different, and very useful.

Doll Pillows Made With Love

Cut the ties off the bumper pads, and make several small pillows for baby dolls. Simply sew the ends closed, either by hand or using a sewing machine, and add lace if you like. Children won't mind if they aren't perfect, and they make wonderful gifts for little girls who love to play with dolls. Kids who enjoy playing with stuffed animals and dolls with love this alternate use for bumper pads.

Tooth Fairy Pillows Made From Bumper Pads

Kids enjoy having a tooth fairy pillow to keep a very special tooth safe until the tooth fairy can exchange it for cash, and you can make a small pillow by removing bumper pad ties, and sewing up loose ends. This alternate use for bumper pads will result in about a dozen unique tooth fairy pillows. All you have to do is add a small heart-shaped or tooth-shaped pocket on the front of the pillow, and give it to your kids or kids of close friends and relatives who will soon begin losing teeth. A tooth fairy pillow will be a prized possession for many years, and boys as well as girls absolutely adore them.
