This past Sunday, you may have noticed Proctor and Gamble's coupons sported a brand new theme. P&G have teamed with PUR water for the Give PUR WaterProject. For each coupon that you redeem from the March or April coupon inserts, P&G in cooperation with PUR water will donate one liter of water to someone in a developing country.

Every year, millions of children worldwide die from drinking polluted water, so P&G and PUR water decided to do something about it.

Through the Give PUR Water Project, PUR water and P&G aim to supply developing countries with 50 million liters of water. And you can help. Not only can you save money while shopping with coupons, but with each redemption, you can rack up donations for this valuable campaign.

Common products that are participating in the campaign are Glide, Head & Shoulders, Herbal Essences, Iams, Infusium23, Max Factor, Metamucil, Nice 'n Easy, Olay, Old Spice, Oral-B, Pampers, Pantene, Pepto-Bismal, Prilosec OTC, Puffs, Secret, Swiffer, Tampax, Thermacare, Tide, Venus, and Vicks.

To find out if your Sunday paper carries the P&GbrandSAVER coupon insert, go to www.givepurwater.org/givepurwater/help.jhtml and enter your zipcode.

At press time, a scroll at the top of their page had estimated that nearly 8,500,000 liters of water had already been donated.

This Sunday, be sure to clip coupons from your insert. Save money while providing water to children in need.
