Strawberry Shortcake Themed Birthday Party Games
If you have decided to use Strawberry Shortcake as a theme for your child's next party, try setting up these exciting birthday party games.
Pin the Strawberry on the Hat
This birthday party game is a fun variation to pin the tail on the donkey.
To set this game up, draw and color a hat and strawberry on a piece of poster-board, cut them out, and attach the cardboard cutout of the hat to the wall of the party area.
To make this game exciting, blindfold children (one at a time) and spin them around. They will delight in trying to pin the strawberry to the top of the hat.
Bobbing for Strawberries (no water involved)
The object of the game is for each child to transfer the strawberries from the whipped cream to a nearby container using only his mouth.
To set this game up, you will need to fill pie tins with whipped cream (one per child) and hide five strawberries inside of each one.
Before beginning the game, request that the children place their hands behind their backs. If any of the children are having a difficult time picking up the strawberries, you can bend the rules and let them use their hands to assist with the task.
Give children as much time as they need to finish the game.
Strawberry Shortcake Trivia and Consequences
The object of this birthday party game is for children to correctly answer trivia questions about Strawberry Shortcake and her friends. If they are unable to answer the questions correctly, there will be consequences.
To set this game up, take a few strips of paper and write down the trivia questions and place them inside of a bag. Then write the consequences on individual strips of paper and place them inside of inflated red and pink balloons (one consequence per balloon).
To play the game, let each child pull a trivia question out of the bag. Read the question aloud and give her time to answer it. If she is unable to answer the question correctly, she must pop a balloon and face whatever consequence is inside. The consequences should be simple, fun and appropriate for the ages of the children.
