Campbell's has long been known for its delicious soups, but I have discovered something else Campbell's sells that is - I have to say it - "Mmm Mmm Good!" Campbell's Pork & Beans make a great snack for those on the go and also a great way to power up at home.

Campbell's Pork & Beans, which come in handy size I like---an 8-ounce pop-top can---are easy to carry around and full of protein. It seems there are few snacks like these Campbell's Pork & Beans, which offer a whopping 7 grams of fiber, 6 grams of protein, less than 5 milligrams of cholesterol, only 1.5 grams of total fat and just 8 grams of sugar per four-ounce serving.

Something that many people will find especially convenient about these handy Campbell's Pork & Beans is that the eight-ounce cans have an easy-to-open pop-top ring, which allows you to open the can by simply pulling up a ring tab then pulling the lid right off the can. That's right---no need for can openers here. While you can safely eat Campbell's Pork & Beans at room temperature, these really taste best when heated. I have tried Campbell's Pork & Beans at room temperature and they taste fine unheated (that is, they taste like room-temperature beans!); however, when served hot, Campbell's Pork & Beans are very tasty, moist, soft (not mushy), and make for a delicious snack. Definitely, I recommend that you eat these beans hot.

While many people prefer to rigidly stick to eating by the "serving size," I personally have a hard time eating just four ounces of pork and beans. I tend to eat the entire eight-ounce can(!) Of course, if you eat the whole eight-ounce can, then you can get more than half your daily fiber (56%), and fiber seems to be something that is hard to squeeze into some people's diets.

Takeaways
  • Campbell's Pork & Beans make a great, high-fiber, high-protein snack.
  • Campbell's Pork & Beans come in a handy 8-ounce can.
  • Campbell's Pork & Beans are especially tasty when served hot.

Veronica, "power up at home" is just my little idiom I use here for describing a boost of energy as derived by the protein and fiber one can attain by eating these tasty pork and beans at home, as opposed to on the road or at work! Thanks for your interest!

Catchy title! I'm not much of a pork and beans fan but I love Campbell's products.

I am sorry to say that I prefer Bush's brand, too. I make a great soup with it, too. :)

I love Campbell's, but when it comes to baked beans my favorite is Bush's brand. I think it's the dog in the commercials that sold me on their brand, LOL.
