Garmin's Nuvi series of GPS receivers, affordable and attractive act not only as GPS receivers, but as personal travel assistants, as well. That by itself makes the Nuvi 660's $449.99 price tag far more reasonable than you might have felt when you began reading this article.

The Garmin Nuvi 660 has a 4.3 inch color TFT display, and can be mounted either with the included vehicle mount, or in the hands of whoever is navigating. The unit weighs a mere 6.7 ounces, and has an average battery life of approximately seven hours with its lithium-ion battery. You can also hook it up to your computer via the included USB cable or hook up headphones to the 3.5mm line out jack if everyone else in the car is finally asleep, and you want to keep it that way.
