Buffalo, NY: one of two cities in all of New York that keeps its bars open until 4am. Buffalo's Chippewa district is famous for having block after block of bar after bar...the only problem?? From the outside Mothers looks like any other dive bar, but once you walk through the door, the atmosphere will have you returning again and again. The intimacy of the restaurant is complimented well by their covered patio that is perfect for a late dinner on a summer night. Dress code is semi casual. You'll see a lot of business suits but jeans and a nice shirt are perfectly acceptable. Mothers has a very affordable wine list and a menu that offers American cuisine featuring many seafood dishes as well as more eclectic dishes like lamb and duck; they also have specials that change daily.
