Downtown Burbank Has Some of California's Best Shopping

Ever since the city of Burbank began a major overhaul of the area three years ago and built the start of what is now “Downtown Burbank”, the city became extremely popular. 

I’ve been living in California for almost 20 years now, so you can say I am a veteran of the state and know my way around many cities. (The fun ones, anyway)

In the past, Burbank was pretty boring. It had a shopping mall that was a good size, but it was underused and not too many people visited it, even during the holiday season. This has all changed as it is now a thriving, exciting and very fun place to visit! 

The shopping mall is the same but this time there are more stores in it, including favorites like Sports Chalet, and there is now a Bed, Bath and Beyond which is a great store for men and women. 

The mall has a decently sized arcade for kids to play in plus they have a Kaybee toy store, a Dairy Queen ice cream store and a great candy store full of sweets for the kids to enjoy. The food court is a good size with enough diverse food for anyone to enjoy. My particular favorite is “Teriyaki Tokyo” since they make delicious Japanese food with enough servings to satisfy any belly!But they have a MacDonald’s, Sbarro and 

For women, there are enough dress stores (Mervyn’s, Anchor Blue, Macy’s, Express, Victoria’s Secret, Forever 21, etc) to visit and for men, there is a sports store (Sports Chalet) Sears, SunCoast Motion Picture, Sam Goody and many other interesting stores to go to while the wife or girlfriend is shopping. 

For you video gamers (like myself), there are two video game stores to visit (EBGames and Gameland) to visit for your console or pc gaming needs. 

Old Navy and American Outfitters will soon be included in this mall to make this mall even more popular for shoppers. 

But this is only the shopping mall I told you about. Outside the mall there are tons of other things to do! For example, there are so many great places to eat in this city you will be amazed.
