Okay, the piñata has been beaten like a dead horse; the donkey's tail has been pinned so many times that we all can do it after being spun around plenty of times with our eyes closed. Yes, most of us have been subjected to these lame and played-out birthday party games at one point or another, so why not change it up?

Now that it's your turn to host a birthday party, use these fun and exciting games to entertain your guests!

What Celebrity Are You?

The goal of What Celebrity Are You? is to get your party attendees socializing by attaching a label with a celebrity name on each party attendee's back. Your party guests are unable to see what celebrity name they have on their back and will have to ask other party guests questions to find out what celebrity name they have. The questions asked must be yes/no questions. For example: A party guess might ask: Am I a guy? Am I a woman? Am I a singer? Have I done anything crazy? Have I shaved my head? And the person being asked the questions can only answer yes or no. Eventually - well, hopefully - the guest asking questions will figure out which celebrity they are. They may say, "Am I Britney Spears?" If the answer is no, and in this case it is, they keep asking questions.

There isn't a prize for this birthday party game. It's primarily used to break the ice at the beginning of the birthday party.

What you will need:

Name badges - You can get 100 "Hello, my name is..." badges at office supply stores such as Staples or Office Depot for less than $4.00. To save money, you can simply use any type of paper to write celebrity names on and tape it to your guests' back with scotch tape.

Tips:

If you think some of your party guests aren't hip to celebrity names, but may know celebrity faces, you can print out pictures of celebrities on the badges or pieces of paper instead; although, this may be pricey because you're printing out pictures. To find pictures of celebrity faces, use a search engine, like Google.com, to find pictures of celebrities.
