Your head pulses. you suddenly become aware of a presence in the bed; something foreign is lying next to you. Your eyes open to slits ,and you become aware that someone is in your bed. In a brief panic, you try to recount the events of the night before. You smile at the memory of good times, but then the stranger next to you begins to stir. Here comes the one-night-stand awkwardness.

Spring break is not the only occasion that calls for a suave escape from the morning-after confusion and humility, but it surely does increase your odds. Keeping your cool is the most important part of this entire game, and navigating the delicate process will require a few considerations.

1.) Pre-Pre-Game. Before you go into the situation of a one night stand, I advise that you set up a friend, who is probably having less fun than you are, to make a few dummy calls. Set one up for when you think the action is about to begin, and another in the early morning, this will make you escape much smoother should you need to exit before or after the action.

2.) Choose Wisely. If you are careful in your selection and mannerisms, you will luck out and get a partner that wants exactly what you want-one night of passion. Choosing this partner will save you from tears, most of the awkwardness, and a potential stalker.

3.) Pre-game. When you are getting ready to take someone through a one night stand, it helps if you can make that fairly clear before anything ever starts. Say things like, "Who needs relationships when you can do this?" or you can be more forward and state your intentions outright. This may mean you get declined your goodnight sex, but at least no gets their feelings hurt.

4.) Do you want this to remain a one-night stand? It is important you have the answer to this question as early as possible. If yes, then continue the following tips. If you want to develop this into a relationship it is as simple as sparking a conversation and arranging another date.
