On March 4, gunshots were fired on the Chapel Hill campus at the University of North Carolina. When the authorities arrived at the scene they discovered the body of Eve Carson. Eve Carson was a senior at the University of North Carolina and the current student body president. Eve Carson died due to the gunshot wounds. The University of North Carolina has arranged a memorial service for Eve Carson on Thursday, March 6. The authorities are continuing to investigate the crime scene for any leads to Eve Carson's killer.

Safety has always been a complicated issue, from the day an individual is born, to the day an individual dies, they attempt to remain safe. Parents will do everything for their children, in order to keep them safe from the dangers of the world. Traveling with friends is the most basic tool which can be used in order to remain safe.Traveling alone will increase the risk of being attacked, you become more vulnerable when traveling alone. Travel with some one else besides yourself, the more individuals you are traveling with, the less risk of being confronted by a criminal.

Jog. When you are alone in an area that you are unsure of, instead of walking, allowing yourself to be followed by a criminal, just simply jog. If you are jogging, a criminal does not have the few minutes needed to plan their attack.
