How do I Get My Airborne Refund?

Get Your Piece of the Airborne Settlement

I'll admit it, I was duped. I thought that Airborne really worked. It seemed to work the first time I tried it. Then I found out the other day that the makers of the cold remedy Airborne recently settled a class action lawsuit for making false claims
about their products effectiveness. It was a placebo all along! Well I guess we can throw the placebo effect out the window now.

There was some information on the news about a possible refund for people who had purchased Airborne in the past. I work on a college campus and I'm constantly bombarded by germs, so I kept Airborne in good supply. I decided to get on the internet and see what I might be entitled to.

The website to go to get more information is:

http://www.airbornehealthsettlement.com/faqs.htm#1

I found out from the site that you can get refunds on every Airborne product that you have ever purchased provided that you have receipt (purchases must have been made from May 1 to November 29). I don't know about you, but I don't know too many people that keep receipts for cold remedies.

Not to fear. You can also get refunds on up to six packages of Airborne without any proof of purchase whatsoever. Jackpot!

The process is actually very simple. You can file a claim online. That is what I did and I found it fairly easy to do. You can also download a printable form that you can mail in to file a claim. This may be a better option if you are not too internet friendly.

When filing a claim you need to provide an approximate date of purchase and you need to select the product that you bought. Each product has a different refund amount as follows:

Airborne Health Formula - $6.99

Gummi - $2.75

Seasonal - $10.50

Any other Airborne product - $6.99

That means you can get a maximum refund of $63.00 (if you are claiming purchase of 6 boxes of Airborne Seasonal)

The deadline for filing a claim is September 15, 2008.

Don't hold your breath waiting for the check. Checks will not be distributed until after a hearing on June 16, 2008.

No I did not sue the company. I'm just voicing my opinon. And I do work out 3 days a week. I only took it because of the change of weather from ca. to mo.

I, having worked out my whole life along with my husband, have found airborne to work increadably. i love it so much. if people are complaining about it the only explination is because you do not take care of yourself in the first place. being unhealthy and not taking care of your body can mean that different drugs do not work for you. airborne protects the body from different colds and vireses but if your immune system is already down as it is with alot of people these days, dont expect miricals with airborne. people need to take care of themselves. then, that is when you will see that airborne works for you. do not sue or become angry at the makers of airborne just because it does not work for you. it works for other peopel. my healthy friends and family will agree with me 100 percent.

Airborne now owes $23M to consumers. Basically if you've used it back to 2001, you can get your money back. For more info on the health settlement and airborne refunds, visit: http://www.airbornerefund.info/ Airborne Refund Information
