Birthday Party Favor Ideas from a Mom
Embed:
Having two children at home means I throw and attend lots of parties for children throughout the year. My youngest daughter is always trying to be creative and have new ideas for her parties, which has always prompted me to do some research, try different ideas and even add my own twist to the ideas I have seen. This year we did a small party in my home, the kids made their own pizza's and ice cream sundaes. For the party favors I went to a local craft store (Michael's) and purchased the Chinese take out boxes in several different colors and styles for about $1.07 each. I also purchased a bag of clear (decorated ones would work fine as well) cellophane bags with twist ties for $1.99. I had all the children write their names on the boxes and stuff them with the cellophane bags. All of the children rolled up balls of the extra pizza dough and I fried it up. They each sprinkled their own sugar/cinnamon mixture on top of filled their bags. I tied all the bags, and closed the boxes up to take home when they were finished.
