Hillary Clinton and her campaign staff have recently spoken out against Samantha Power, a long time friend and foreign policy advisor to Barack Obama, for referring to Hillary as a "monster" in an interview overseas.

The statement was leaked from a newspaper called 'The Scotsman' along with other foul tempered words concerning Obama's primary competitor.

Considering the full range of Samantha Power's words, her sheer honesty and audacity is something altogether missing in the political arena. Although her phrase may seem too personal to be fair, Clinton herself has dealt out her share of aggressive tactics against Obama-continually battering him for his lack of experience and possible incompetence if he were elected. It may be true enough that Obama has been guilty of rebuttals to, but the statements Samantha Power said are largely being exaggerated and may even hold an element of truth.

Hillary has been putting out tremendous effort to convey Obama's inability to run a nation, and at times, that effort may overshadow her own campaign. Politicians who resort to discouraging the 'other guy' should be examined very closely. Those campaign techniques can indicate a sense of vulnerability that may end up hurting Clinton's image in the long run.

It's no surprise to me that someone from Obama's side has hit back - even if the statements were inappropriate-but with such tight political pressure, a statement like that shouldn't seem so appalling to congress and members of Clinton's campaign. Samantha Power's remark was not very respectful and a reprimand of some kind should be in order, but to fire someone for making a subjective comment is outrageous.

Read that the press holds to "truth to power" and I say power to Power for speaking up on my behalf. Hillary does inspire "horror and disgust" in me as well as fear and the feeling of being helplessly abused by her power to manipulate and control, not only the press, but voters. I wake up in the morning with knots in my stomach afraid to check the news to find out what her latest attack will be. It is a shame she turned a pivotal election into a war dividing to conquer and get her spoiled brat way. Maybe, we the people do not want a Bush/Clinton dynasty in DC, but she calls us "the cult of Obama". That is abusing me. Maybe we, and the ladies in Iraq agree 100% with Power's words. But Dame Clinton~who shame on her has been rude from day one in regards to her co-worker in Congress~decides Power's has to go. Shame on her. I vote Cynthia McKinney if all the DNC came give me is a 3rd term for the disgraceful Bill Clinton.
