My Associated Content Vs. EHow Experiment Part II

As Promised an Update to Help Provide You with an Unbiased Opinion on Both Sites

A short time ago, I published the article, My Associated Content Vs. Ehow.com Experiment: Which One Really Paid More?, in order to provide writers considering writing for either site, which one's page view bonus program was more lucrative. I did this for two reasons: first, I
wanted to see if writing for another site was worth the time and money, and secondly; to see if the individual article successes were the same or different. When I analyzed the data, I had made the decision the AC had more traffic, as I made more in page views here rather than on eHow; however, I am changing my decision based on new data.

In my previous article, I stated that 75% of my articles had not even earned a penny. Well, a month later, here are the new stats: Out of 24 posted articles, 9 have earned something; which equates to my every 3 out of 8 articles earning at least a nickel, for a grand total after a month to buy a few items from McDonalds' dollar menu and still have a few pennies left over (I don't want to say exactly how much I made in case it is against eHow's terms of service agreement.)

Now those same articles on AC have earned me over 3500 page views (total combined), and since we all know how much performance pay is, well, it still is enough for me to go to McDonald's. So based on this new finding what advice can I give? Submit to both articles to both places. Many people use AC, Helium, Triond, eHow and a host of other sites to help get their articles out to as many places as possible, in order to maximize revenue. Because my eHow articles have actually earned me something, in such a short amount of time, I am going to recommend this site for writers seeking an additional source of revenue. Grant it, most of my articles still haven't earned me a penny, but all it takes is that "magic" article or two to earn enough money to make payout.

I hoped this has helped to provide some more insight on my experiences with AC and eHow. I wanted to be fair and non-biased, which is why I wrote this follow-up article.

Disclaimer: Opinions here are based on my own experiences with Associated Content and eHow.com. Your articles may perform better or worse than mine.

my ehow earnings.). After a month i only earn almost 4 dollars and since the policy here is after a payment all the last page views will be start again to zero. then I would have wait again to reach 1000+ views to my articles to earn 1.5 dollars. Which if compare to ehow. you also get benefits from your the views that your articles generated last month. So I only concentrate creating articles on ehow and even though i am not very good in english. I find easy to create articles there because creating how to articles is much easier that thinking some other articles.

I am an ehow writer and for me ehow makes more profit when your article is promoted well. I start writing on ehow.com since last Oct 2007 and for the second month of my writing, i earn only 20 dollars for 6 articles. that articles is submitted on digg.com and del.icio.us. Because I am a busy person in that time, i stop creating articles and my earnings is still increasing up to 20+ dollars on the next month and 30 dollars on the next month again. Im happy because even though i stop promoting my articles, ehow pay you based on your profit last month and the category of your articles. My highest earnings in ehow is about 100+ dollars and up to now. my total earnings in ehow reach at almost 400 dollars from oct 2007. When i read an article about comparing ehow and AC, I dont know if this is it or the other, i try to post on AC and i reach up to 10+ articles. I promote this artcles also on digg.com and del.icio.us and also adding links to my website. (which i bought using

Interesting article, I too write for EHow.com. Good writing. Question: How the HECK do you get so many page views? I'm astonished. It's a total mystery to why I only have a total of 5000 views. I'm bummed.
