What Time is It? Official Time and Time Widgets

Days after Daylight Savings begins or ends, people search the web for the answer to one important question: "What time is it?" They also want to know the official time and the official U.S. time. Here are some resources you can use to help synchronize the clocks in your home and office that do not automatically update. There are also widgets and educational resources about time. As for those classroom clocks that never get updated, you're on your own.

Official Time

To find the official time in the United States, go to Time.gov.

Click on your time zone on the map. The official time will appear.
