Will You Marry Me? A Few Proposal Ideas to Catch Your Girl Off-Guard

You have already made the long and hard decision to give up single life and "settle-down" with that person of your dreams. On television they make it look so easy; these people come up with some of the most intricate and creative proposal situations that make you wonder why you can't think past the traditional dinner with a spontaneous, "Marry Me," somewhere in between the appetizer and the entree. Also, you know that if you were to spring a trip to Italy, you would have to save several years to regain the money just to pay for the wedding. So, this is where I want to help. By no means am I calling myself an expert: I just believe in the element of surprise. These are just a list of Eight Ideas that you can refer to if you need that little extra push. 1.Although at first thought this may seem a bit extravagant, it is more feasible than you think. If you live in an area where there is a University who has a basketball team, take advantage of the half-time presentations. I thought of this idea when I was at the Florida State Women's Basketball game and they were doing a free throw shoot-out during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Allow your girlfriend to think that she has been randomly chosen to take a blindfolded attempt at a free-throw basket during half-time. Allow her to be escorted onto the court and placed in position with the basketball in hand. You can even go as far as to make her take a shot at the basket. Whether she makes it or not, after the attempt, have her remove the blindfold while you are situated behind her on bended knee. I can guarantee that it will be one of the biggest surprises of her life.
