My Teacher's Sex Change

High School is a time of change for most students, but the last thing I ever expected to change was my teacher's sex. I had the distinct privilege to witness one person's journey from manhood to womanhood.

My teacher, Mr. W, started off the year with fine, straight, blonde hair. He was balding on the top of his head, but the sides continued to grow. In the beginning of the year it was cut to the bottom of his unadorned ears. He was about 5'8, with a round stature. He had the waddle that men of his size sometimes seem to take on. He wore brown straight slacks and polo shirts. His uniform never differed.

I think I saw Mr. W smile, his crooked teeth quickly sliding passed his fleshy lips, four times during the first quarter. He seemed to get a sort of sadistic pleasure from assigning too much homework, and he enjoyed giving detention.

Things started to change after three months. One observant student noticed his previously hairy arms were now shaved. We shared this news between ourselves and conjectured on why he would do such a thing. A few classes later he had buffed and polished fingernails.
His transformation steadily progressed. Nothing by itself would have caused too much of a stir, but put together it was painting an interesting picture He got both ears pierced and confided to my class that he was letting his hair grow long.

The year ended and by luck I had him again the following year. He was pretty much the same, if you discount the breasts. His hair was to his shoulders, and his nails were much longer.

Towards the end of the year he told the class it would be his last at that school. By then the rumors were flying. Everyone in my class suspected a sex change. No one would call him on it, though. That year ended and I went on to college.

That summer my friends and I wondered what had happened to Mr. W. We had no way to get in touch with him and see if he was a woman yet.
