Clinton V. Obama. Are They the Same Candidate?

Comparing and Contrasting Clinton and Obama. How Are They Different?

Let's take the topics and see who wins in the end.

She's white. He's black.
Obama is married to a black woman and he is only half-black. Clinton is married to a white man who cheated on her half the time, probably with some black women.

Advantage: Obama. Bill is more baggage than asset.

She's a woman. He's a man.

Clinton's track record of Travelgate, Vince Foster, cattle futures, and preferential contracts to family members proves she has bigger stones than most men. Obama's maleness is random genetics.

Advantage: Clinton. She earned her stones. Now if she only could keep Bill's under control.

Their health plans are the same.
Not true. Clinton wants full government control of health care. Under the guise of non-discrimination, Clinton's proposal includes, "The insurance companies can't deny you coverage if you have a pre-existing condition." I wish my car insurance worked that way. I could wait until after a wreak to take out a policy.

Obama only wants the government to force everyone to have health care at the expense of their employer and with new government programs. His, too, has a "guaranteed eligibility" clause. It also makes coverage for children mandatory. This is looking more like car insurance all the time.

Advantage: Draw. Both plans will tax everyone, strain the economy, and degrade the level of care.

They both will end the Iraq war.
Clinton has a two-year withdrawal plan that will cost half-a-trillion dollars. Obama has a 24-month withdrawal plan that will only cost five-hundred billion dollars. These clearly distinctive plans are still obvious cost savings to continuing the war. America saves money and Al Qaeda only has to buy one red pen and two calendars..

Advantage: Al Qaeda. Two years off to build more IEDs and a date book for their next attacks.

It is the same everywhere, the moment someone comes to power, they completely forget their voters (i.e.us). They also forget who is paying their wages.(i.e.us). Most of the time they don't even know which country they are ruling. Great article,BF!

Great column. The saddest thing, to me anyway, is that in November someone has to win.

What if we just don't vote in November? Chances are, my vote won't count anyway. I'm a Floridian.
