Madonna, John Mellencamp, The Ventures, Leonard Cohen, and The Dave Clark Five are all Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees. Question is who deserves it the most? Here are my picks!

1. John Mellencamp:

Melloncemp is the most influential traditional rock star out of the bunch. He has the hits, the critical acclaim, and the Grammys to support this. He has signature songs like Jack and Diane, and small town. He is everyone's favorite small town rock star!

2. The Ventures

The Ventures had their popularity back in the 60s and may not be remembered, but they are truly influential. They were a premiere surfer rock instrumental band that influenced the Beatles and the Doobie Brothers. They are hands down the most influential instrumental bands in the worlds. They have made dozens of records and have sold millions of records around the world.

3. Madonna:

Madonna is not the traditional rock star, but her influence is inescapable. Her ambition, versatility and reinvention have had an astronomical impact on modern music. Madonna helped create MTV. She was the first artist to really sell a complete image. Part of Madonna's brilliance is the fact that she realized she didn't have enough talent to separate herself from the pack. Instead, she combined her average talent with catchy pop hooks, revealing costumes and choreography, Her Influence can easily be seen in acts like Britney Spears, Pink, Gwen Stefani, Rihanna, Fergie, Beyonce, and Christina Aguilera to name a few! They don't call her the queen of pop for nothing. In terms of success, she is the most accomplished out of the bunch. Madonna brings the star power to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

4. Leonard Cohen:

This Canadian poet/ singer-songwriter created his own definition of a rock star. He is himself. He writes material that he wants to write about. Is lyrics are gloomy and feature dry humor. He is one of the most poetic rock stars of all time. His influence is also expansive. His influence can be seen by acts like Bono, and REM. Johnny Cash even covered Cohen.

5. The Dave Clark Five:
