I love to bake. So anytime I see a new product that would work great in my baked goods, I must try it. A few weeks ago, I stumbled upon Kraft Premium Caramel Bits. These looked like they would be perfect in brownies. In fact, there was a brownie recipe on the back of the package. But, how would this product taste? Would they be the same as the original Kraft Caramels?

Kraft Premium Caramel Bits Review: Taste

Kraft Premium Caramel Bits are about the size of BBs. The first time I decided to use this product, I used them to make brownies. I have to admit that I tried a couple before pouring the bag into my brownie batter. On their own, Kraft Premium Caramel Bits seem to be lacking flavor. Actually, they taste a bit like wax. But, in hot brownies they taste wonderful and have the taste Kraft Caramels are known for.

Kraft Premium Caramel Bits Review: Uses

Kraft Premium Caramel Bits can be used anywhere you would use the wrapped version. The whole point of this product is being able to avoid unwrapping all those small squares, like you do with the original version. If you've ever made dipped apples using Kraft Caramels, you will really appreciate this new version.
