Law of Attraction Series #3 The Tools of the Law of Attraction

Thoughts, Beliefs and Emotions

Thoughts

So far, in this series, we've talked about the universal nature of the Law of Attraction, comparing it with other universal laws of which we are more consciously aware. How, like the Law of Gravity, it was in deepening our understanding of its properties that we were able to go from "what goes up must come down" to, "we can make something go up whenever we want, and it won't come down until we say so." We've also taken a wide-angle view of how the Law of Attraction has been evidenced in various sciences, disciplines, cultures, religions and specifically in our own personal experiences.

Combining this with what we gleaned from the personal reflection-type exercises in parts one and two, we are now in a good place to begin to better understand some of the specific principles, properties and tools of the Law of Attraction and apply them with the careful and clarified intention of enhancing our lives.

The Law of Attraction says, like attracts like. What you think about you bring about or, attract into your life. Every experience of reality that you have ever had, or ever will have, is created via the Law of Attraction by your thoughts and beliefs. Many have taken these definitions and descriptions of the Law of Attraction and reasoned, "well then, I'm going to think about a million dollars" and, if a million dollars doesn't show up in their lives, they dismiss the idea completely and go back to doing what they'd always done. They tried it and it didn't work - end of story. I wonder where we would be if physicists and engineers stopped their work with Newton's ideas after the first attempts at flying failed. If we always do what we've always done, we'll always get what we always got.
