Pam Babcock, Ness City, Kansas, Woman Found Stuck to Toilet After Two Continuous Years of Sitting in Bathroom
In Ness City, Kansas, Pam Babcock was found stuck to a toilet seat. She has not been glued or tied. She sat on the toilet for two years straight. The toilet was at her boyfriend's Kory McFarren's. He only thought to call authorities after two years of bringing Babcock food and water. When authorities came she stated that everything was fine, but they were eventually able to get her to go to the hospital, the toilet seat having to be pried from the toilet to come with her because her skin has grown around it. Her legs atrophied and she may now be in a wheelchair for the rest of her life.
I have never experienced abuse and neither has anybody in my family. However, I know of a family that had one natural child and adopted five others. They were always a very loving family, but there were stories of abuse from the adopted children.
One of them, AJ, has been passed from home to home. He was a foster child for many years before he was adopted. When he was finally adopted, this meant that he often acted much younger than his age or even did things that most children would not do once they are taught that it is wrong.
He would often defecate anywhere on the floor. He would not let anybody know that he needed to go to the bathroom or that he needed to go to the bathroom. He would just pull down his pants and proceed to use the bathroom wherever he was.
He did not do this because he wanted to upset others. He wanted to know that he was loved. All the other places would scold him and send him away when this happened. He did not have anybody to love him and he found that this behavior would determine if he was really loved.
He only learned that he was loved after this happened many times and the family still kept him as their own child. After that happened, the behavior quit and he was able to live on his own.
Then, another child they adopted, Barbara, is both deaf and mute. She is also mentally retarded. Of course, her birth family did not think she was as smart as she is. They figured that she would be like an infant all of her life.
