With Associated Content[4], you can either paid upfront (typically $3-15 per article depending on length and quality) or get immediate performance payments ($1.50 per 1,000 clicks on an article). On the other hand, Helium[5] does not offer upfront payments, but they pay depending on the number of clicks and the quality of article (via peer ratings). However, you can earn extra money publishing articles in the Helium Marketplace (subject to approval) and taking part in special promotions and contests. Helium's minimum payout is $25 via PayPal.
