I was channel surfing one night when I stopped at the Discovery Channel. I got intrigued watching men erecting a huge billboard that stood high up in the air. I soon learned one was Mike Rowe, the host of that reality show, "Dirty Jobs." I didn't think that job was particularly dirty, but it was extremely dangerous. Mike Rowe's Early Years
Michael Gregory Rowe was born born March 18, 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland. The oldest of three boys, he attended Overlea Senior High and graduated in 1980. Mike Rowe then enrolled at the Towson University where he studied English, Speech, Music and Communications for six years. His college education was drawn-out because of his uncertainty on what to do.

Yes, I knew Dirty Jobs was a spin-off from being a narrator. Still, I had no idea he sang opera :-)

I've often thought that there are many jobs that look awful. But your article about Mike Rowe and his show highlights that there are those beyond the imagination. I don't have a tv these days but if I did, I would watch this show--especially since you said that Mike Rowe is a hottie!

I love this guy! Thanks for all the interesting facts. I am most surprised by his first job as an opera singer. :) I have noticed that he narrates The Deadliest Catch before.
