In 1992 and throughout the Hillary and Bill Clinton reign of squandered talents, we were introduced to political degradation (or political porn as some people call it), as we'd never seen it before. Personally, I've reached the same conclusion as many in my generation, women and men. It's not what we don't know about Obama that is a problem. It's what we DO know about Hillary Clinton that makes us more than a tad nauseous.

As a Democrat, I remember good things about the 90's, but I also remember eight years of wanting to crawl in a hole as the Clinton's hung all their dirty laundry, personal and professional, in my back yard, as well as in your backyard and the world's. As an over-fifty, college educated professional woman and a democrat, not much shocks me, but I admit, even I was blindsided by the trash the Clintons chucked our way.

I hated to see it happen, because I admired Bill Clinton's political acumen and ability to coherently frame a problem. But, as the Clinton campaign is fond of pointing out, there's a lot more to being a good public servant than being able to make good speeches. Integrity, honor, authenticity, that kind of thing matters because as a country, our leaders are the collective face we present to the world.

During the course of this campaign for President of the United States, I've come to think that a vote for Hillary makes about as much sense as sending my bank information to one of those charming fellows in Nigeria. Even her message is similar to theirs: "With me, you win the lottery!" Spam scams will say anything to hook you and so, it appears, will the Clintons.

It appears as if quite a few hardcore politicians and news pundits are also salivating over potential Clinton spoils. Governor Jennifer Granholm of Michigan has already gotten some huge monetary perks from Hillary. Although she hasn't endorsed Hillary, she is full of syrupy praise for her gal pal. Won't she do all she can to have an illegal primary cast in Clinton's favor? Honestly, I would have expected more sense from a Canadian.

Takeaways
  • Hillary is the victim, over and over. That's a poor recommendation for Commander in Chief
