Are You a Victim or a Victimizer?

14
Road rage affects us all and we have all been there, in one way or another. Either we have been the victim or are the victimizer. So how to handle these stressful encounters can be a challenge. There must be a balance to ensure health and safety while on the road. Hopefully, with these 10 steps we can keep our sanity and remain stress free.

If you tend to be the victim:
  1. Don't let it ruin your day - just think they are the one's that have issues not you
  2. If you must react you can always look at them and smile or my personal best is to blow them a kiss - it throws them off guard and irritates them more
  3. Just move out of the way - don't risk putting yourself in danger
  4. Listen to classical music - it has a calming soothing effect
  5. Remember this is not the jerk that is coming home to you - gives you something to look forward to

If you tend to be the victimizer:
  1. Listen to classical music - it has a calming soothing effect
  2. Take lots of deep breaths and smile a whole lot - relaxing and reminding us that we are happy
  3. Life is short what's the big deal, what has you so angry - think positive and all the good that is out there
  4. Think first, is it worth the risk of enraging another driver and potentially causing harm - keeps you out of jail or the hospital
  5. Remember what goes around comes around - "God don't like ugly"
