Minnie's First Baby News Announced on Jay Leno's Tonight Show

Ms. Minnie Driver announced on Jay Leno Thursday, March 13th that she was four months expecting. While all is going well it's the morning sickness that pretty much every women experiences that she doesn't like. She plans to continue working on the Riches and appearing on Ellen Degeneres' show. The father of this first child hasn't been names and as far as anyone can tell , the baby name hasn't been picked out yet. Though she did joke about it with Jay, "My friend...sent me an email saying I should call the baby Duncan Driver. Then I can call it Drunk Driver, Pile Driver, Rally Driver...I'm going to call him, you know, John." (eonline.com) And at that she wants to wait to be surprised at the gender of her first child.

Other celebs that have had the pleasure of coming into mommy-hood since last year are Selma Hayek, Jessica Alba, and Nicole Richie.

Selma Hayek's news of being both pregnant and engaged came to the people knowledge last year on March 9. François-Henri Pinault was the father and groom-to-be. The couple profile was kept mum for a while. Selma gave an interview to Glamour about the experience. She reported having diabetes and had hoped for a son. Though obvious she had a baby girl that which she is well proud of. "I had diabetes while I was pregnant. I became huge. And I said, 'This is what it takes for me to have this baby, and I really want it.' Then you don't know if it's going to be healthy; you are completely out of control," she says. "So the experience really makes you humble." (Glamour Magazine) The beautiful baby girl was born September 20, 2007. The name given was Valentina Paloma Pinault.

With Jessica Alba's pregnancy she was with Cash Warren. Who had an on/off relationship since 2004. She had no intention to hide the cute bump. Which prepped well with a new hour and car. There had been much rumor to her pregnancy. That she was having twins and that she hated being pregnant as opposed to a reported happy pregnancy. Unfortunately since I was unable to keep up to date during this pregnancy, I have no clue as to whether she has had the child or will be soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.
