Cascadian Farms Organic Frozen Mixed Vegetables Review

I find that frozen vegetables can be a great way to keep vegetables in the house and make sure that they do not go bad. Now of course I don't want to say that I don't think that fresh vegetables in the house isn't good, I actually believe that fresh vegetables are much better to have in the house. That being said I have to admit that one of the frozen vegetables that I use are Cascadian Farms Organic Frozen Mixed Vegetables. I like having a bag of frozen mixed vegetables on hand because I can use them in dishes that normally may not have them and that way will be eating more vegetables. The Cascadian Farms Organic Frozen Mixed Vegetables taste great and don't take but a couple minutes to heat up on the stove. They consist of peas, tiny pieces of carrots and corn. I like that fact that they are organic and that I can stock up on them and keep them in my freezer and pull them out when I need to. They are under two dollars for a 16 oz bag. Certainly something that we can afford and for the fact that they are organic I don't mind that it is more expensive than non organic frozen mixed vegetables.

There are two things that I don't like about these mixed vegetables. One is that they are frozen, I really do wish that I could find and afford organic fresh corn and peas. I already have found and get Earthbound Farm Organic Carrots. This of course is something that has nothing to do with Cascadian Farms brand organic frozen mixed vegetables, this something to do with frozen food in general. Also I wish that they were a product that was grown closer to where I live. I am always very happy when I can find vegetables that are grown in Washington, where I live, but these mixed vegetables travel all the way from Mexico.

I would recommend the Cascadian Farms Organic Frozen Mixed Vegetables to anyone who wanted to eat organic foods and liked the convenience of frozen mixed vegetables. I have several bags in my freezer right now and if I start to get low or run out I will be very quick to replace them with more.
