Preparing for the ACT test is what Dr. Lanny Acosta has devoted much of the last 30 years of his life. A dedicated educator who received his doctorate based on preparing students for the ACT test. He has taught his Short Course to thousands of students across Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana.

He has been a principal of St. John's High School where he first realized the impact he could make by preparing students for the ACT test. He realized the value of preparing for the ACT test to his high school students. This realization led him to pursue his Doctorate at the University of South Mississippi in research on how to prepare students for the ACT. The experience that he brings to his courses combines all that research and experience with his very unique style of teaching students that simplifies the most complicated reading, English, math, and science problems. He makes students understand that a lot of the information tested on the ACT is information they have learned and forgotten. He realizes that students must prepare for the ACT by reading because most of the test in all areas depends on the ability to read. He then teaches the students to prepare for the ACT test by attacking the problem and breaking it down into an incredibly simple approach to the most difficult problems.

He has now taken all those years of study in preparing for the ACT and condensed all his tips that he teaches in his course to 8 packed sheets front and back and color coded. The preparation of the ACT can now be shared by thousands of students across America who he could not reach before.
