Jonny Fairplay (Jon Dalton) only lasted one episode on Survivor Fans vs. Favorites, but that didn't stop him from trying to break into pro wrestling once again.

This time, fellow Survivor Joel Anderson from the favorites team is coming with him. Three days after CBS aired Joel's surprised elimination, he and Fairplay showed up in the crowd at TNA Wrestling's Destination X pay-per-view in Norfolk, Va.

Their appearance wasn't a one-shot deal, either. Anderson has appeared in the crowd on subsequent episodes of TNA's "Impact" show on Spike TV. Most recently, he was attacked by Team 3D (formerly the WWE's Dudley Boyz).

The 34-year-old Fairplay's affinity for pro wrestling has been obvious since he first appeared on Survivor: Pearl Islands. Every time he voted someone off, he would deliver a wrestling catchphrase, like "Can you dig it, sucka?" (Booker T).

After he somehow finished third in the Pearl Islands, Fairplay signed a contract to be a manager in TNA Wrestling, which hoped fans who hated him on Survivor would tune into TNA to watch someone beat him up.

He feuded with AJ Styles in 2004 and brought in Lex Luger to cost Styles the TNA tag team title. He has made sporadic appearances in TNA (and one in Ring of Honor) over the last three years.

Fairplay was originally trained for wrestling by Rowdy Roddy Piper. He became a dad in January and named his daughter Piper.

Joel certainly has the look of a wrestler or ultimate fighter. On the CBS website, he lists Olympic-style wrestling as his favorite sport. He is training with the TNA wrestlers. Currently he is a firefighter in Phoenix, where he lives with his wife and their two boys.

The connection between wrestling and reality is not a new one. On MTV's second New York-based season of The Real World, Mike Mizanin often imitated "The Rock" by calling himself "The Miz."

He ultimately signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment and worked his way through the WWE's minor league system. After a few obnoxious appearances as the host of Smackdown, The Miz made his way into the ring.
