Meet Democrat Illinois Senator Barack Obama

Obama is Ranked Liberal #1 in the US Senate

The Black/White Controversy

I am very concerned with the developing black/white controversy bubbling within the Democrat Party. Race has become an issue of the race for the Democrat nominee. I do not like it one bit. It hurts America. Both Barack Obama and
Hillary Clinton are guilty of the infamous tone of the primary contest. We cannot ignore this dangerous development. Shame on the Democrat Party. I have lived through many general elections (*Truman v. Dewey, *Kennedy v. Nixon, *Johnson v. Goldwater, and others). Race was not an issue.

Lamentably, that is not what I am witnessing in the Democrat primary. It is very perturbing. It is hurtful to our politics. It will cascade into the general election.
For example, conservative radio host--Rush Limbaugh--(on 3/18/08) promised to continue playing Reverend Jeramiah Wright's radical rantings to let America know what is going on in black churches. Factually, Obama is getting about 80-90% of the black vote, and Clinton is getting almost 70% of the white vote. (In Pennsylvania, the racial divide is increasing.) Hence, the divide is clear, it is getting fiery, and it is getting ugly. I do not like it. What bothers me the most is that Democrat elders (Carter, [Bill] Clinton, Gore, Kerry, Kennedy, and others) remain on the sidelines--silent, detached. That is shameful.

A Historic Moment--A First!

My readers, we are experimenting a historic moment in American politics: Either a black or a woman will be the Democrat candidate for president, and the oldest candidate will represent the Republican Party. No matter who wins the general election, it will be a first. We should all be happy, joyful, but we are not.

I agree Obama is not ready to be president. I will say that Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and Joe Biden all will be there to make sure he fail. Hillary has motives that only suit herself. Joe Biden well he is just a loser altogether.

I am impressed by the "state level" experience of Senator B. Obama--certainly more than "Bill" Clinton's in 1992. Thak you for the details. Hillary (who has passed Obama in the Dem-polls) maintains that Obama is not ready for "prime time" politics--not qualified to answer the "3:00 AM" call. By the way, most Americans (in the high 50%) prefer John McCain to answer the call. I see Obama's campaign in serious trouble. He is being defined negatively, and he cannot stop the negative tied. We have a ways to go before the Democrat Party has a nominee--a debacle in Denver is next for Obama. Obama's leadership "state experiences" will be determined by: (1) Florida and (2) Michigan--to be sitted, not to be sitted. I will not "touch" Reverend Jeremaih Wright's "hateful sermons" and his "ties" to the "experienced-judgmental" Senator from Illinios. Those incendiary sermons (in the presence of Obama) will derail his run for Pennsylvania Avenue. Wright will not go away! God Bless America.

Obama has more years of elected experience than Clinton, has been a neighborhood community organizer (very hard worK) and a civil rights attorney, has worked at the crucial state level at which most federal domestic funds flow. Inexperienced. He's a year older than was Bill Clinton in 1992.

Thank you for your views. Thank God we live in a "free democracy" where we can have a civil dialogue. That is what our brave troops are defending. I have noted your views and will save them--they are, indeed, political talking points. God Bless You!
