As the season will soon be approaching warmer temperatures, department stores are un packing swimsuits left and right. Mini skirts and spaghetti strap tanks are now replacing hooded sweatshirts and sweaters. The latest trend in the cosmetic aisle of many stores in cellulite firming products. Cellulite is where pockets of fat are trapped in certain areas and a cottage cheese like appearance happens. The stomach, thighs and buttocks are the common areas for cellulite. Many of these items come in a lotion form costing in the range between $3-12 depending on where you shop. Two items recently caught my attention in Wal*Mart.

One was the Jergens Skin Firming Daily Toning Moisturizer. On the front of the bottom the product claims it visibly reduces the appearance of cellulite. The product comes out in a pump dispenser with a light fragrance. You simply rub the product into the cellulite prone areas daily. In 2 weeks the product describes your skin will increase visibly in elasticity, firmness and the texture. In 8 weeks you can expect to see smoother skin with dimpled cellulite reduced. In 2 weeks I did see softer skin but that was about it. After 5 weeks- not much has changed. The cost for this product was around $3.50 for an 8oz fl. Unsatisfied with the item- I moved on to try another product I had heard a lot of good results.

Getting rid of cellulite won't happen with these hype miracle lotions... the best way is to cut back on your salt intake. ; ) On top of excercie like you had suggested of course.
