Here are 8 easy Thanksgiving arrangements you can make for les than $10 a piece. They work perfectly as centerpieces or additions to your home during the holidays.

1. To make this simple centerpiece you will need:

Mums
Rubber band

Stand one asparagus up to your jar. Cut the end of the stalk off at a height that will allow it to be about 2 inches taller than the jar. Line the asparagus around your jar. Use your rubber band to hold the asparagus around the jar. Cover the rubber band with twine, rope, or a pretty Thanksgiving colored ribbon. Insert inexpensive mums, daisies, or whatever is available at the grocery store.

2. Bowl of pine Cones

This one is free. Have the kids go collect some pinecones form the yard. Fill a large beautiful bowl with them. Place in the middle of your table. You will be surprised at how many people pick one up and hold it.

3. To make this centerpiece you will need:

Glass jar
Twigs
Velvet Ribbon
Black Eyed Susan’s

Have the kids collect a large selection of thin twigs from off the ground outside. Snap them all off at a similar length. Group them around your jar and hold them in place with a rubber band. Be sure to cover your glass jar completely. Tie a beautiful velvet ribbon in Thanksgiving colors around the rubber band. Insert some daisies.

Buy $10 worth a miniature ground at the grocery store and pie them in a bowl. Place in the middle of your table.

5. Gourd Candle Holders

To make this centerpiece you will need:

Gourds
Knife
Tapered candles

Buy a selection of gourds at the grocery store. Slice off a piece of the bottom to make them stable and able to sit flat. Use a knife to cut out a piece in the top big enough to insert a tapered candle into. Line your candle gourd holders up in a row in the middle of your Thanksgiving dinner table. Be sure to mix and match your gourds. Don’t buy all the same color. These would also look great lined up on a mantel above the fireplace or on a coffee table.
