The United States is a very powerful country that's filled with opportunity. There is so much poverty in the United States and this is really unbelievable for a country like the United States. Personally, I think the government is motivated by wealth and its focused on the rich making more money. The government is very dominated by big business.

Many children are growing up in poverty then any other industrial nation in America. Some kids are living in conditions that are similar to a third world country. This is really surprising because the United States have such a powerful government. The government is very aware of the poverty in the United States but there isn't money involved in cleaning up the poverty. The government is willing to solve a problem or make changes when it benefits the government financially.

There are millions of workers that are making less money in dollars then workers were making twenty years ago. The price of gas has risen to over half of the amount of minimum wage. I notice that the government passed a law for minimum wage to bring the amount up to 5.85 this year. There are really a lot of people in this world that are working at a minimum wage job. Some of these people don't have a chance at owning a car or having money to buy gas. The government needs to make more job skills programs available and make more job opportunities available.
