Why You Should Watch "Men In Trees"

The new fall season is upon us, and there are a lot of good shows that I have seen so far. When trying to choose the show I would recommend viewers watch, I decided to pick something that, although not the best show to come out this fall, has its own unique charm. The show stars Anne Heche, which viewers might remember as Ellen DeGeneres former girlfriend and because of some strange public behavior in the past. Also, from the soap opera Another World, which aired from 1964 -1999, where Heche, for a number of years, played twins, Marley and Victoria Hudson, for which she won daytime Emmy.

In Men in Trees, Anne Heche stars as Marin Frist, relationships coach with a couple of successful books under her belt. In the first episode, she resides in New York, engaged to the most wonderful man. NOT! Marin, flying to a speaking engagement in Alaska, to promote her latest book, finds she has mistakenly taken her fiancée laptop. On it she finds pictures of him and another woman together. Heartbroken, Marin lands in Alaska a mess, but well dressed and still with her wary sense of humor. By the end of the first episode, she comes to the realization that she knows nothing about men. Here in Alaska where the men are plenty or to paraphrase one character, "Although there are plenty of goods, the goods are funny."Marin finds that she does not know quite as much about men as she thought. Armed with her optimistic attitude and her quirky personality, Marin decides it is time she learns what men really are all about.

Here are a couple of reasons why you should watch Men in Trees.

Takeaways
  • I never seen a show where practically every man has a beard.
