The Lake House - An Awesome Movie!

If anyone has not seen The Lake House starring Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves yet, then you are missing the best movie they have made yet. Granted it's definitely another chick flic but who cares? They have some how pull off yet another brilliant film.

The movie is about two people who are supposed to live in 2 dfferent time periods. A doctor (Sandra Bullock) and the other an architect (Keanu Reeves). The architect lives in the year of 2004 and she lives in the year 2006, ironically. She used to live in a nice little lake house, until she moved, leaving behind a letter for the next person who moves there, that if any mail comes to forward it to her.

In another scene you find Keanu Reeves moving into the exact same lake house, receving this letter from Bullock to forward her mail. After some time has passed these letters start appearing in this mailbox with both Keanu and Sandra both standing in front of this mailbox in there own time periods both equally confused about the fact that they are conversing through letters and neither one can see each other. They become really good friends through these letters and start talking as if they've known each other for years. At some point in the movie, is it revealed that they infact did know each other at one point but after there one night encounter, they never saw each other again.

After a few let downs and quite a few letters later, they do some how meet.. I believe in Bullock's year. I am still a bit confused on how that happened and how it all worked out in the end, but once you are watching it, and you get so wrapped up in the movie, you get to the point that you jsut so want them to get together.  For awhile there I wasn't sure if it was really going to happen for them with the car accident and all, but some how... some way... it was in the cards for them to meet. Although it is a movie and as we all know only in movies do they almost ALWAYS, ALWAYS, do have a happy ending.

Now if you're not into that kind of movie, then this movie is sooo not for you and I wouldn't recommend seeing it unless you just love watching your girlfriend get all sappy and mushy... which technically isn't such a bad thing! :)
