I love trying new bath products, when my mom was given a birthday basket filled with a few Philosophy products, I knew I too would be soaking in the luxury. I spotted a bunch of fragrances from the company that I had never gotten my hands on, nor have I even gotten to smell them in a store.

The first I tried was Amazing Grace; a 3 in 1 that sucked. When I spotted Pure Grace Perfumed Shower Cream I assumed it would suck just the same. Bland, barely scented, and boring.

I unscrewed the top to the cream and took a sniff. Meh...it smelled just as bland as Amazing Grace did. Pure Grace had a clean soapy scent, but it was so light, that I did not think it wold impress me in the shower. I went ahead and tried it anyway....even if I already had this good hunch that this was going to be a boring shower.

Inside of the see through bottle Pure Grace looked a lot more promising than Amazing Grace did. It had a very thick looking texture, with a nice shiny pearl shimmer added to the gel. I imagined though this would only make the gel thicker and would allow it to lather a lot more then a more watery 3 in 1 would. Still though, some consider shower creams better than shower gels.

Pure Grace was certainly thick...but at the same time it was still very much a gel.

Every Philosophy bottle has a cute little rhyme or motivational saying. Pure Grace also comes with it's own cute little description. You can read it here.

My Use:

I poured a decent amount of Pure Grace Perfumed Shower Cream into my lovey dovey purple fuzzy bath poof, and began to work a lather in my hands.

Pure Grace produced a very luscious and creamy lather that felt like silk to my skin. Unfortunately Pure Grace, like it's sister Amazing Grace, failed to grace my body with scent. Don't get me wrong, there is a scent, it does produce a scent; however the scent is so light that it is barely noticeable, and what you do smell of it is not something that you would adore so much that you would want to purchase Pure Grace again and again.
