These Nascar Birthday party Initiations are a fun way for kids to make handmade invitations for their birthday party! If your kids love Nascar and love crafts, then have them try these birthday party invitations on for size.

Kids as young as 7 should be able to help make or make these Nascar birthday party invitations on there own.

To Make Nascar Birthday Party Invitations You Will Need:

Race Car Stamps

Card Stock

Acrylic Paints or Markers

Race Car Inspired Ribbon

Hole Punch

Acetate

Scissors

Envelops

To get started you will need card stock or card stock cards. These can be bought at any craft store or art supply store. To save money buy sheets of card stock and cut out your own cards.

Now, to make this easy for kids I recommend using racecar stamps that are in the style of your favorite Nascar racecars. These can also be bought at the craft store. Kids of all ages can easily use rubber stamps and paint or ink, so let them try and get creative.

Now, get started by laying out some black paint in a try or using some black waterproof ink. It needs to be waterproof is it is ink so it ill not smear the stamped cars on the Nascar birthday party invitations.

Stamp the cars in the ink or paint, then press onto the front of the birthday initiations.

You can add as many or as fee stamps as you wish. It looks cute to make 3 rows of 3 Nascar inspired stamps. This create a professional looking pattern and adds to the whole look.

Now, let their sink or paint dry. Once dry you can have the kids dip tooth brushed or paint brushes into paint. A small dip. Then they can run their fingers across the bristles of the brush and splatter paint in many colors on the front of the Nascar birthday party invitations.

Use colors of paint that coordinate with your child's favorite Nascar driver(s).

Markers can also be used to color in the individual cars.

While all of this is drying you want to cut out sheet of clear or colored acetate out to the same side at the fronts of the cards.

Lay them on top of the dried cards and use a hole punch to add two holes in the top about ½ inch down from the edge and centered in the card about an inch part.
