Zonet has a thing for blue, and so do I, but that is not why I really like their products. Ease of use and simplicity is. The ease of use of just taking a SATA hard drive and plugging it straight into the SATA ready hard drive connector inside the enclosure and buttoning it up with the two side screws is simple for installing a 3.5" hard drive.
To use the Zonet Hard Drive Enclosure simply connect power and the USB cable and use like a regular hard drive whether for storing photos, media or even as a network storage drive. The Zonet ZNS8010 is a simple and easy to use hard drive enclosure that works off a simple power adapter and connects to your computer or network using USB 2.0 connection. The company also has a few different models of these types of drive enclosures for 2.5" drives with a few extra options.
The 3.5" enclosure is very easy and simple that I just can't help myself repeating it; you really cannot mess up installing a drive. The SATA connector is simply premade for a regular SATA drive and has one whole plastic connector that the drive connection slides onto. Once the drive is in the enclosure you simply tack it down with two screws to the plastic body and then slide the cover on and secure it with two screws.
The Zonet 3.5" enclosure comes with the body and cover, a power adapter and the USB cable for connecting the drive and some screws. You can use the drive for a simple portable drive or as a stationary drive for storage. The back of the enclosure has the connections as well as a power switch to turn off the unit that is a great idea and is sometimes missing on some hard drive enclosures.
