The Accuplacer is an assessment test that measures knowledge in arithmetic, elementary algebra, reading comprehension and sentence skill.

Before you enroll in college, many schools require the students to take the Accuplacer test to find where the students stand in math and English. This test then determines which classes the students will be taking.

The Accuplacer is an untimed, multiple choice test done on the computer. Their performance decides which questions they get. Finally, the sentence skill part of the Accuplacer covers recognizing complete sentences, coordination and subordination, and clear sentence logic.
