Pros and Cons of Having a Cat

Most people want cats as a companion, or just to have something great to come home to. Others prefer them over a dog because cats take less care and are basically cleaner than dogs. Some cats have never been bathed and smell just fine. First I will start with the bad, and then head over to the good. After all, you know what they say, "Save the best for last".

Litter, changing litter is a burden. It also doesn't feel, well...clean... but with some cash, it can all be changed with self cleaning litter boxes, like cat genie.
Odor, sometimes a cat also comes with a smell, if it's from the litter or from the un-spayed cat, either way, a cat smell is a cat smell.

Hair, some people aren't too fond of the thought of having a Sphinx cat, a.k.a the hairless cat a.k.a the bald cat. All cats shed. Most do not like hair on their clothes, rugs, bed, furniture, body, well... you get my point.

Allergies, it's proven that most people are allergic to cats more than dog or most other animals for that matter.

Cats are Nocturnal, most of the time, when you are asleep they are awake, vice versa.

Cats always climb, drawers, fridges, name it. To be specific, the Devon Rex cat [semi hairless] is characterized as a 'spider monkey' because it is curious, hyper, and climbs on curtains especially.

Cat in the bedroom, If it's not sitting your head, then it's purring incessantly in your ear. Although i did hear that listening to a continuous sound helps you fall asleep faster.

Cats can also pick up diseases, fleas, and heartworms.

Well now that I'm finished with the bad things, let's take a look at the good.
