If you feel that a new you only needs a new hair style or color, a cheap and easy way to find out what type of hairstyle will look good on you is to go to a wig shop. Here, you will probably have to pay under $5 for the privilege, but you can try on any wig you like. You will have to wear a protective hair net (for lack of a better word), but it will be provided by the wig shop. By trying on a variety of wigs, you can see which hair color and hairstyle works well for you. Check your local phone directory, or business directory, to see where the closest wig shop is to you.

For those of you wearing glasses, you can experiment with a new you look simply by trying on a variety of eyeglass frames. Go to your nearest eyeglass store. Sometimes, they are located within an optometrist's office. Many major department stores have their own Optometry Store. You can check out how they look, and what type of look they provide you with. You usually do not need an appointment to do this.

Another cheap and easy option available to try out a new you is to scan a recent photo of yourself into your computer. There are a variety of software available that allow you to try out different hair styles, hair colors, clothing, make up, etc. For this option you will need to go to your computer store and check out the software available. Also, some beauty shops have this service available for a charge. It is kind of fun to simply sit in front of a computer and experiment with new looks for yourself.
