I Am...The Barefoot!
Living Under the Secret Identity of Mike, I...oh Crap!!
Ladies and gentlemen please just go grab your coffee, take the phone off the hook and just enjoy-The Barefoot:DP: Please tell us a little about yourself; who you are, where you're from, etc.,
The Barefoot was born one snowy day in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Dad had met a lovely Senorita while invading the Bay of Pigs and fled to Jamaica after the failed coup. The whole Cuban missile crisis had my parents holding each other in fear and in 1963, poof, there I was.
I married my high school sweetheart. We decided it was our duty to create some creatures whom we could embarrass later in life, so we had two daughters. Having watched them grow to adulthood solidified my views.
After 12 years of college, I got my degree, clawed my way into a decent job, and more than doubled my salary within five years. With my success, I changed my name to theBarefoot.
My advice to your readers is stay in school...up to a point.
DP: What type of personality type would you say you are?
Green. Green is fresh. Green is new. Green smells like a freshly mowed lawn. I'm definitely green. I also suffer from what my cousin termed "jetpackitis." If there is a line, I don't just cross it, I jetpack over it.
DP: Please share with us a story about your favorite pet.
I'm a dog person. We've always had dogs. Right now we have a 3-1/2 year-old Chihuahua named Hubble and his 1 year-old half-brother, Shakespeare. They're good to each other and the immediate family, but are very protective. Delivery drivers live in fear of these 5-pound bullets of terror. Hubble only accepted my son-in-law after
Robert bit him back. Now they are the best of friends.
DP: What do you like to read?
I never learned to read. Sadly, 1 in 4 people in Alabama are functionally illiterate, yet they still have a driver's license. I like to read traffic signs and shake my head when other drivers don't.
DP: What was/is your favorite subject in school?
School is such a distant memory, I'm having a hard time with the question. I guess Driver's Ed was the pinnacle of my education. I learned the most important skill in life, how to get up to speed and merge properly.
DP: What's the worst day of your life thus far?
