Ever heard that saying, "the couple who plays together, stays together"? Here's an interesting tidbit that you might not be aware of: relationships which are weighed down by a cloud of seriousness all the time can be quite daunting. Sometimes we find ourselves in situations where we (for one reason or another) are suppressing the innate urge to be a little silly or crazy. The demands of life are bogging us down, or we feel like serious partnerships are cause for serious attitudes- all the time! How exhausting! I am here to peak everyone's interest in trying to be physically active (outside the realms of sex and exercise) with your wonderful mate.

Joke around! Give them hell! Wrestle and play sports together! It may sound corny, but often the power of light-heartedness can be drastically over-looked. This can manifest in a situation where your partner doesn't understand your sense of humor, or doesn't take an interest in fun things you want to do. You know what happens when these situations occur? Either you will try to find other people to express that energy with, or will feel constantly stifled around that person- like something is lacking, or slightly off. Ideally, we should aim for a partner who is always up for a dose of playfulness. Obviously, we strive for someone who's ideas of playfulness are similar to our own.

Spring (especially this one) is a time to bloom. Work your way out of the darkness of Winter, and have a little fun. Everything this results in this is healthy. When we laugh or play with other people, not only does it bring us closer together, but creates and subsequently feeds an environment where positive vibes can flourish. This is most heightened with we find ourselves with somebody who finds the same things funny or fun. If you feel the big important things in your life are either falling into place, or well on their way, it becomes easier to turn your focus to all that induces glee.
