When I first developed this series on the Law of Attraction, I made a conscious decision to keep in mind all of those hard-learned lessons I wished I had understood from the beginning of my own journey. This is why we didn't begin with any special techniques, magic tricks or gimmicks. Instead, using background information to help develop a greater awareness of our core values, hopes and dreams, we began dealing with those blocks and resistances to attracting a life more aligned to those values, hopes and dreams into our experience. These are the resistances that have the greatest power to trip us up along the way because they exist just beyond our awareness and are almost entirely sub-conscious: our habitual thoughts, our emotional responses and our limiting beliefs.
