Taking care of those eyebrows can be such a big ordeal trying to figure out if you want to tweeze them, wax them, tattoo them, or even thread them. Eyebrow threading is probably in my opinion the best method to choose, because not only can you get the closes to the actual shape desired it's also less pain to deal with. According to one of my hair clients eyebrow threading started either in Europe or India. Eyebrow threading is where a beautician or person who specializes in this starts out by making a loop with the thread and then twirling it around the needle a few times. Then the beautician gently applies the thread to the area that is desired. If you are really sensitive to pain the beautician can apply a cold icepack to the area first to numb it. They can also numb the needle by placing it in a refrigerator if they have one in the shop. If they don't have a refrigerator, they may take the needle run it under really cold water for about 10 minutes or so just to numb the area for you.

Usually the beautician will start removing the hair that is in the middle of the brows first then continue with the top and bottom. With eyebrow threading you can really achieve any desired shape, length, and thickness, where with the other procedures it's a much harder ordeal to achieve. Eyebrow threading is usually done mainly on the face area, but this can be done on the bellybutton or should I say happy trail to your pubic bone all the way down to your toes if it's really needed. I have known a few women who had it done on their toes, now they really don't get those ugly hairs much anymore. how unattractive is that?

I've never heard of it before, but I'm going to look around and see if I can find someone who does it. If you get better results than waxing I'm all for it!

I will stick to the old fashioned plucking. But still was interesting to read.

I've had this done a few times. It's amazing how they can do it - so quickly, and they even get all those really light eyebrows that are almost impossible (for me) to see.
