Sad sack Marvin
Won't you please
Stop your slumping
With your wobbly knees.

Your socks are holey.
Your hair's a mess.
Won't you try
To look your best?

Just wipe away
Those crocodile tears.
Smile a little bit.
Find some reasons to cheer.

Don't walk around
With a runny nose.
Get a tissue instead
Of using your clothes.

I'm tired of listening
To all your complaints all day.
Can't you find a friend
Who you can invite over to play?

Your mom has bought you
Lots of toys.
Don't be shy.
Invite over some boys.

Enjoy your life.
Get over the gloom.
Bring on the sunshine,
And brighten your room.

It's time to say goodbye.
Sad sack is going away.
Smiling Marvin
Is here to stay.
